The Street Show
By creating “LottoWitch, The Street Show”, Lotto aimed to make live performance accessible to everyone — including those who would never step inside a theater. Yet originally, LottoWitch had been conceived for cultural venues: paid, controlled spaces conducive to more refined work on clowning rhythm and depth of performance. This creation sought to move away from the tumult of the effervescent street rituals found in pieces like “Liturgie de la Connerie,” a highly festive and participatory show — though not only that!
With “The Street Show,” Lotto reconnects with public space while infusing it with a poetic and introspective dimension. The performance draws on the spontaneity of the moment and the complicity of passersby, transforming an ordinary instant into an open-air stage, vibrant with humanity and humor.

"The Street Show" will include four major acts from LottoWitch. Designed for a spontaneous street audience, the performance can be divided into separate acts spread across different locations and moments, creating a dynamic and captivating performance experience.
Act 1: The Character’s Arrival / The Speech
Act 2: Whiplash! A Symphony of Whip and Color
Creation of a Live Mytho-Artistic Work and a Clownish Auction
“The Juggled Painting” is an original act in which the artist juggles whips while creating a painting in harmony with the music. The perfect coordination between the fluid movements and the artwork taking shape highlights LottoWitch’s virtuosity and creativity. This act turns painting into a true dance, blending technical prowess with artistic expression, leaving the audience captivated by the poetic beauty unfolding before their eyes—if not necessarily by the canvas itself.

Act 4: Pendular Hat Juggling
The pendular hat juggling, carried by classical music, weaves an enchanting alchemy of rhythm and elegance. LottoWitch’s movements, both precise and fluid, form a delicate choreography in which every gesture seems to dance with the music. Far beyond technical prowess, this performance awakens a visual poetry, transforming simple objects into living, vibrant works of art.
